Let's Get Acquainted
Hi and thanks for stopping by and taking the time to read our Blog.
This blog came from our shared experiences and love of all things camping and VW Campervans.
Karl and Mike were 2 friends that met years ago and decided to start a small and family friendly camping club based around the VW (VeeDub) scene, we are NOT exclusively VW and welcome all vans, tents and campers alike. Mike bought his VW T4 Transporter already converted but Karl took the plunge and bought a basic shell of a van and converted it himself!!! He followed many hours of Youtube videos and created his own superb kitted out campervan.
We also knew a few other friends and family who had VW vans and started going to camp meets and festivals and it grew from there.
Whenever we go away camping or to festivals we meet so many like minded and lovely people and wanted to share that with you out there.
Karl and Mike being very silly and childlike decided on a challenge for all new members.......the infamous "Kids Ride Hit and Run".
The challenge is to squeeze yourself into or onto a kiddies ride seen outside shops or arcades, take photo evidence before scarpering quick in case the Fun Police catch you.
Essentially we are all about going to new places, enjoying good company and telling stories around the proverbial campfire.
If there`s an adventure to be had...let`s do it, you are never too old to smile and laugh!
We are on Facebook and Instagram and we now have our own Youtube channel with how to and repair/mend/make videos among others.
As a visitor here, you are part of a fantastic community. We have met some amazing people along our journey and its not over yet. We have been to some incredible places and have been invited to many more thanks to our experiences and love of Vanlife and the infamous VW Camper.
